In a unexpected partnership that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal release, "A strange confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret cult.
The mission focuses on "strange tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
